See of Caer-Glow

The Old Roman Catholic See of Caer-Glow is a traditional Catholic jurisdiction that exists to guard the Faith, worship, and sacramental life of the Church as they were received before the upheavals of the post-Vatican II era. Whereas many other traditionalist groups identify with a position, the See of Caer-Glow’s identity is a mission: the sanctification of souls by the means of the Traditional Catholic faith and Sacraments. Its clergy stand in a documented line of apostolic succession whose Holy Orders have been treated as valid by Roman Catholic authorities—both in pre-conciliar reference works issued with diocesan imprimatur and in later correspondence with local Ordinaries and the Holy See—even while the See of Caer-Glow itself remains outside formal canonical communion with Rome. In its churches the Holy Sacrifice is offered according to the Traditional Latin Mass; Baptism, Confirmation, Penance, Extreme Unction, Matrimony, and the other rites are administered from the traditional Roman Ritual; and the same unrevised Catholic doctrine defined by Trent, Vatican I, and the unbroken teaching of the ages is professed without reservation, including the dogmas of Papal Infallibility, the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The See of Caer-Glow does not claim to be a new church, but a refuge for traditionalist Catholics determined to preserve the Mass, the sacraments and sacramentals, and the Faith whole, until the day when the era of confusion turns again to the faith of the Apostles.
